First of all, many congratulations on your engagement and forthcoming wedding celebrations!

Your wedding day is the start of a new chapter and your photos will be the reminder for the rest of your life, so the photography is one of the most important investments while planning your big day.

As a photographer, my aim is to tell a beautiful story, one that you will want to look at over and over again. People are what make weddings so special and, as much as I love all the little wedding details, my favourite part of weddings is capturing moments and emotions in a creative way, the speeches are a great example of this, i love to listen to them, the thought that has gone into them, the humour, the love.

We'll meet before your big day for a chat about your requirements, the shots you want, and the shots you don't. We'll also get out for a pre-wedding shoot so you get chance to experience being photographed and the style/equipment used before your big day, to help you feel at ease with what the main day will entail.

We'll be spending a lot of time together on your wedding day, so its important to me that you feel comfortable with me. Nobody wants a fantastic yet miserable or rude photographer that you don't feel at ease with! I like to think I'm fun, conscientious and caring. Being a father of triplets I know all about stress and stressful situations! ...but your day will not be one of them!

To keep it simple we cover your whole day, from getting ready until just after the first dance, we don't see the point in setting limits, it's about you, your day and we can't wait to spend it with you, documenting your day.

Hopefully by now you'll have seen that my work covers a multitude of weather and lighting situations, it's not an easy job for sure! battling rain, harsh sunlight, low light (which is one of my passions and hopefully you'll have seen this).

I use the best equipment (imo), fast lenses and a multitude of flashes and constant lighting equipment to ensure I have the most suitable gear for the task at hand. I carry a second camera body, ready with a different lens to save time changing, missing that all important shot! The second camera also acts as a backup incase the worse should happen to my main camera. I have many SD/ compact flash cards, you name it I'll probably have it. I'm also fully insured and carry all the relevant liability insurances needed by many venues.

Your wedding, your venue choice. Whether we've photographed there or not isn't is a worry. We make a point of either meeting you there for a pre wedding shoot or taking a trip to check out the venue, speak to the co-ordinator and work out the best locations, lighting, so to be sure to capture some truly magical moments.

'A moment captured, a memory for life'

The flow on the day...

Prior your big day we'll have exchanged many emails planning the day, where and when the photo will take place. Ones you want, one you don't and so on.

Come the morning of the wedding I'll head over at a time arrange to capture the 'getting ready' shots as well as the details, dress, shoes, make-up, perfume and so on. I'll be in the backgrounds capturing natural as they happen moments. This time is also great to get to know family members not previously met

I'll head off now and then to capture details of the venue prep, decorations, cake, bits you'll miss and provide great extra vision/ detail from the day. Before leaving the bride I love to capture the reveal shot to Dad, a great moment indeed, sometimes even with tears (sometimes from me too!).

Leaving the bride I'll head over to capture guests arriving, capturing the moments as they happen, getting shots of the lads and details of the church or venue filled with anticipated guest.

Once you arrive I'll get a few shot of you with dad before heading in to get the entry shots and those of the Mr to be, building up a story to the day. Depending on the number of guests and if the boys/ men are in a different location could warrant a 2nd photographer, something I can arrange, so please ask me about this if you feel it would be beneficial. I'll continue photographing the moments through the ceremony till we get to the grand exit and confetti exits etc, a great change to add some drama and excitement.

Post wedding, drinks, canapés etc and into the group shots. This can be as little or as much as you want, again a list that we'll decide upon pre wedding day.

We can capture a few shots of just the two of you at this point too but love to save a lot of the YOU shots for later when the sun starts to drop and blue hour approaches, this is when you can capture the real dramatic shots and I get to play with the flash gear previously mentioned that aid the shots you see on this site.

Cake cutting and first dance are capture later into the evening and I/ we stick around to get some dance floor grooving. Once happy we captured groove we're good to go. We'll say our good byes and leave you to enjoy the rest of the evening as Mr and Mrs.

The next day I like to get a sneak peek set of images posted to my Facebook, for you and your guest to see as by then you'll have been spammed a 100 times with guests selfies and mobile camera shots, so nice to have some of the professional images to see and share very soon after.

3-4 weeks later your images will be up on a private gallery for you to view, like, download etc. The 'liked' images are report to me as the ones you'd like to go towards an album. You can decide on what you'd like and we'll build a proof set of files for you to confirm upon. The album will be ordered! Once arrived it will be checked by myself before presenting to you, something it like to do in person (but can be posted if needed).

Hopefully when all done you'll spread the good word on how you found me and I'll begin a new chapter with a new couple of Mr and Mrs to be.

Here's some local fab venues:

The Principal, Aldwark Manor, The Parsonage, The Grand Hotel & Spa, Carlton Towers, Hazlewood Castle, Grays Court, The Pavilion York, Sandburn Hall, The Normans, Woodhall Spa, The Bridge Hotel & Spa, Middletons, The Marriott York, Woodstock, Merchant Adventurers Hall, Newburgh Prior, The Hawkhills, to name but a few!

After trying out many wedding album suppliers we think we've now got some truly great albums to offer.

Whether you're looking for linen, leather, faux leather covered albums, boxed with USB, we've got it covered! Choices are endless so we've made the albums an after the fact thing. Let's get your wedding day done and worry about the album later!

To have a sneak peek, please continue.

Andy was absolutely amazing. Super friendly, flexible and relaxed but totally professional. Our sneak peek pics look incredible already (sent to us the day after our wedding!!!!) and we are so excited to see the rest. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer and it was such a genuine pleasure to have him there as part of our day. Thank you Andy!

Andrew was the photographer at our wedding on Saturday; we could not of asked for a better one! Very creative with amazing ideas for quirky pictures! All of our guests kept commenting how well he blended in so much so people forgot he was even there! He made the whole process very relaxed, would recommend to anyone & cannot thank him enough!
